Long Description

The Alezan Coffee Table picks up exactly where the Alezan Dining Table left off — bringing the same design language to the living room scale. The same recycled teak chevron marquetry top, the same fluted cylindrical legs, the same balance between the geometric finesse of the pattern and the generosity of the wooden columns. A piece that dialogues with the dining table rather than simply complementing it.

The chevron marquetry top is the central detail. Recycled teak slats in two tones — lighter, slightly darker — are assembled in a chevron pattern across the oval surface, creating a precise geometric design that light reveals differently depending on the angle. From the front, the pattern is clearly visible. From the side, the slats seem to blend into each other. A surface that is never identical to itself depending on where you stand.

Its two fluted cylindrical legs support the top with a balanced presence — neither too discreet to go unnoticed, nor too imposing to overwhelm the top's finesse. Their fine vertical fluting echoes the geometric pattern of the top, creating vertical coherence from the work surface to the floor.

The recycled teak carries its natural variations — slightly different shades from one slat to another, slight surface irregularities that remind us that this wood had a life before becoming a coffee table. Each Alezan is slightly different from the next.
