Long Description

Two materials. One dialogue.

The natural white marble top of the Alba Table has a deceptively light visual appearance — thin, slightly overhanging the base, its edges reveal the clean cut in the stone with its pink and grey veins. Each top is different from the next because each marble block is. The veins do not repeat, nor does the distribution of shades. What you receive is a surface that no one else has exactly.

The truncated cone base in recycled wood is its perfect counterpoint. Wider at the top, it narrows towards the floor in a movement reminiscent of a tree trunk — an organic and stable shape. Its texture is spectacular: recycled wood bears the marks of its history, its natural cracks, its colour variations between light and deep brown, its knots and surface irregularities. Made from recycled wood, each base is unique.

It is this contrast that defines the Alba Table. Cold and precise marble on one side. Warm and imperfect wood on the other. One brings nobility, the other brings soul. Together, they embody the wabi sabi aesthetic at its most accurate — beauty in the tension between materials, in controlled imperfection.

At 120 cm in diameter, it comfortably seats 4 people, or 6 for more lively meals. The round shape naturally encourages conversation — no head of the table, no less desirable seats, everyone equidistant.
