Some tables get noticed. The Obsidia, however, stops you in your tracks.

Its base is a sculpture in itself. This fluted conical trunk made of dark mango wood — these dozens of regular, precise vertical grooves carved into the mass, descending from the top to the brass ring — is the kind of work not attributed to mass-produced furniture. The dark mango wood absorbs light between the flutes and reflects it on their crests, creating a play of light and shadow that changes with the time of day. A living piece of furniture.

The golden brass ring at the base of the foot is the detail that makes all the difference. Thin, discreet, it creates a warm signature between the wood and the floor — that moment where the rigor of the wood gives way to golden elegance. A goldsmith's detail on a table, unexpected and absolutely perfect.

The natural ivory marble top completes the ensemble with the nobility such a base deserves. Its beige-ivory hues with subtle veins bring a soft luminosity that brightens the composition.
