Long description

The Arcana Coffee Table is built around a single idea — fluting — and applies it throughout. These fine, regular vertical grooves cover all visible surfaces: the tabletop, the sides, and the rounded corners at the bottom. No smooth surface interrupts the pattern, no element of a different material breaks the consistency. Just medium mango wood crafted with fluting from top to bottom.

This consistency creates something rare in furniture — a piece that appears carved from a single block. And it is precisely this effect that the waterfall design reinforces. Rather than separate legs that would create a visual break between the top and the floor, the table's sides curve continuously to the ground. The table is monolithic in its form as well as its material.

The medium mango wood brings its tones between golden brown and warm brown, with slight natural variations from plank to plank, reminding us that the fluting is carved from genuine solid wood. In the light, the ridges of the flutes catch the light, and the hollows remain in shadow — a play of relief that changes with the time of day and the angle, giving the surface a life that smooth coffee tables lack.
