Long description
The Looping Coffee Table asks a simple question: where does sculpture end and furniture begin? Its continuous loop shape — this rounded rectangle in solid dark mango wood, where the top forms the tabletop and the sides curve down to the floor — is unlike any other existing coffee table. It's an arch. A portico. A loop.
What makes the Looping particularly rare is its monolithic construction. No assembly of distinct pieces, no visible joint between the top and the legs — a single mass of mango wood curved and worked to create this continuous shape. The transitions between the horizontal top and the vertical sides are generous curves that round off the angles and give the piece its organic look despite the rectangular geometry.
The dark mango wood reveals all its richness on a piece like this. Its wide and deep grain, visible in the photo detail, creates an intense visual texture under the dark finish. The closer you get, the more the wood speaks. From a distance, the silhouette. Up close, the material.
Placed in a living room, the Looping needs nothing else around it. No decorative accessories, no object composition needed — it is visually strong enough to structure a space on its own. At 130 cm long, 60 cm deep, and 45 cm high, its proportions are those of a true central living room coffee table.
