Some pieces are unlike anything else. The Athens console is one of them.

Its ivory bamboo marquetry covering all visible surfaces — top, sides, legs — in a geometric pattern of vertical and horizontal lines that plays with light in an almost mineral way. Depending on the angle and lighting, the surface shifts from pure white to warm ivory, with pearly reflections reminiscent of mother-of-pearl or polished stone. A rendering that cannot truly be explained in words — it must be experienced in the presence of the furniture.
