The Sens Coffee Table plays on a unique register. Its circular matt black stained oak top absorbs light with an almost mineral sobriety — no shine, no reflection, just a deep, matt black that establishes a strong presence without overpowering the space. Its four cylindrical legs in medium wood recycled pine provide a warm counterpoint — generous, well-proportioned columns in the golden tones of pine with slight natural variations from piece to piece.

This dialogue between the matt black of the top and the warmth of the natural wood is precisely what Japandi aesthetics excels at. No metal, no glass, no composite material — two woods, two finishes, two visual temperatures that respond to each other without neutralising one another.
