Long description

Black marble is one of the most demanding materials in furniture. Cold, heavy, precise in its veins — it does not forgive ordinary design. The Canyon Coffee Table understands this and responds to this demand with a base that lives up to it.

The black marble top is its first statement. Its grey and white veins snake through the deep black of the stone with the unpredictability inherent in natural marble — no two tops will ever be identical in their pattern. Under the light, the veins shimmer slightly while the black background remains matte, creating a depth effect that makes the top lively and changing depending on the angle.

Its truncated cone base in dark recycled wood is the architectural response to this mineral nobility. This base, which widens towards the floor — wider at the bottom than at the top — creates strong visual stability and a welcome contrast in shape with the straightness of the top. The tight vertical slats that make up the base add a surface texture that evokes the artisanal work of recycled wood — those slight variations in shade and grain between the slats that reveal the wood's past.

This black marble / dark recycled wood dialogue is a wabi-sabi tension in its most sophisticated form: two noble materials, two opposing visual temperatures, two ways of aging gracefully.
